TATTOO AFTERCARE
Remove bandage after 2 hours
Do not re-bandage
Wash gently with soap & water, pat dry & apply lotion. Repeat 3 times daily
Healing time is 2-6 weeks. Healing is affected by many factors,
including personal hygiene, amount of sleep, food, drink and drugs
Do not scratch, scrub, soak, swim, tan, shave or sunburn your new tattoo
At best, your tattoo will flake and peel like a sunburn. If scabs form,
do not disrupt them in any way, as this may cause loss of colour
Remember, your tattoo cannot look after itself
We recommend E45 dry skin formula for healing tattoos: Savlon is antiseptic and may be
too strong, causing colour loss — it should only be used in case of redness.
Preparation H is for piles, not tattoos. Don't listen to your friends, the guy in the pub or the chemist. If you have questions please consult us in person so that we may see the condition of your tattoo as soon as possible and recommend the best course of action.

FACIAL PIERCINGS
FACIAL PIERCINGS
Wash hands thoroughly prior to cleaning your piercing
Use a cotton bud soaked in saline solution to remove the white crusts
that will form around the the holes of your piercing 3 times daily
Avoid make-up on your facial piercings as this will irritate them and prolong your healing time
Avoid touching and playing with your piercing
LIP AND CHEEK PIERCINGS
Wash hands thoroughly prior to cleaning your piercing
Use a cotton bud soaked in saline solution to remove the white crusts
that will form around the the holes of your piercing 3 times daily
Rinse once a day with an antiseptic mouthwash
Avoid lipstick and make-up around the immediste area
Change jewellery for a shorter length after approx. 3-4 weeks
Avoid oral sex for the duration of the healing
If you go swimming or play sports that make you sweat, clean
piercing immediately after you've finished
Sterile saline solution is also sold as contact lens cleaner.

TONGUE/NAVEL/NIPPLE PIERCINGS
TONGUE PIERCINGS
NON-SMOKER
Use an antiseptic mouthwash once in the morning and once at night before bed
Always have ice-cubes, ice lollies, ice cream etc. to
hand - this will help relieve any discomfort
Stay away from spicy foods for the first few days
Change jewellery for a shorter length after approx. 3-4 weeks -
keeping the longer length in can harm your teeth and gums
Avoid oral sex for the duration of the healing
Do not play with your piercing for the healing period
SMOKER Follow care as above except use mouthwash 3-4 times daily and have a drink of something after each cigarette
NAVEL & NIPPLE PIERCINGS
Wash hands prior to cleaning piercing
Use a cotton bud soaked in saline solution 3 times daily
to remove the white crust that forms during the healing period
Avoid touching and playing with piercing until after it has healed
No restrictive clothing should be worn
Clean immediately after any swimming or sporting activity
Sterile saline solution is also sold as contact lens cleaner.
